09.09.10 On Saturday the European Table Tennis Championships in Ostrava will start. A JOOLA team is already on site to assist the organisation with the setup. JOOLA are providing all the equipment. It will be played on the proven 3000 SC tables and specially selected balls will be used. The JOOLA Super ball was also tested last week by the German national team during a EC preparation course. National coach Jörg Rosskopf was full of praise and considers this event positively regarding the material. "JOOLA has obviously done a good job, the ball is great and there is nothing to say about the tables, they are the best in the world. If you play bad in Ostrava you definitely can't blame it on the material," Rossi stated. Everything goes smoothly. „The Czech organisation around Chief organiser Nikolas Endal has been superb, there are enough highly qualified helpers in the hall, who have eveything under control. I am impressed," said JOOLA Promotion Director Andreas Hain, who is responsible for all events at JOOLA and can report only good things from Ostrava. There will be 4 show court tables which have been specially designed for the EC, they are manufactured in such a way that the ball bounce feature will not change. "Often players complain about a different ball bounce behaviour at show court tables compared to a standard table. We have ensured that the ball bounce behaviour won't change. This is extremely important for the quality of a match, otherwise you can't have matches on a high level," explained Rade Markovic, JOOLA material expert and former WC and EC participant. If the setup is finished on Friday, the European Table Tennis Championships with JOOLA can begin.... |
