In Hungary Petra Lovas won gold in the singles and took 3rd place in the doubles with Szandra Pergel. Xu Jie from Poland was even more successful, she won the singles competition and won silver in the doubles together with Partyka.

In Great Britain the men's championships the focus was on the youth. 16-year-old Gavin Evans hit the jackpot! In the doubles he won the title together with Liam Pitchford, and in the singles he stood up to strong competition to take 3rd place.
